‘Mix 1’, ‘Mix 2’ and ‘Mix 3’ are three minimal, organic yet electronic and straight from the heart songs created specifically for Jadac Recordings. 

After 15 years, one of the most elusive names in the electronic music scene, Shinichi Atobe (Saitama, Japan), returns with his second official EP, ‘Rebuild Mix 1.2.3.’ on Daniël Jacques’ Jadac Recordings imprint. 

Atobe released his one and only EP, ‘Ship-Scope’, back in 2001 on the legendary Basic Channel’s sub-label: Chain Reaction. He never released another record, until 2014 when he returned with his debut album, ‘Butterfly Effect’ via Demdike Stare’s DDS label.

The songs on ‘Rebuild Mix 1.2.3.’ are Atobe’s interpretations of Daniël Jacques’ music of the ‘Discovery Change (Part 4)’ EP released on Jadac Recordings. After label owner, Jacques, requested a remix, the reclusive Atobe insisted on making new songs with his own sound library. A few weeks later, Jacques received a CD-R via snail mail containing three exclusive new songs specifically made for his Jadac Recordings label.

All songs will be released on vinyl only, limited to 500 copies (hand-numbered sleeves and pressed on transparent vinyl). All copies will be available exclusively through the label’s Bandcamp page: Jadac.bandcamp.com.
