Fearz (@unofficialfearz) is the musical project of the producer duo Pelayo Alvarez (@9.star.p) and Guillermo Estrada (@estreezy). The duo's musical aesthetic is mainly based on syncopated rhythms and intense percussions, mixed with the newest elements of the current club music scene. In 2019, they founded their own label, Street Dreamz, where they started releasing their music. Since then, their work has been well received by many DJs who have shared it in their shows around the world, with airplay on stations like Rinse and NTS, and even on Boiler Room.

For this new contribution to our Single Series, Fearz comes in strong, presenting us with a track that defines their unique sound, where the percussion and drums support a vibe that zigzags between gqom, tribal, hard drum, and EDM with tints of grime.

After celebrated releases on labels such as Rhythm Section, Wolf and Handy Records, musical polyglot Retromigration lands on Flippen Bits with four breezy dancefloor bits and two furious remixes by DJ Polo and SHE Spells Doom.

Mundo EP delivers four original tracks informed by global dance floors and their histories. Brazilian rhythms fuse with modulated chords, afrobeatesque vocals surf far eastern lute samples, footwork patterns fuse with orchestral strings, all glued together by that irresistible Retro trademark groove.

The Breaking Bounds series has definitely shaken things a bit locally back in LA and around the world. Breaking Bounds VA, Vol. 4 dives back into the electro realm that Native built its name upon with VA 001 self - titled release. Get ready for a dark, weird and sinister collection of breaky grooves from places around the world like the UK, Russia, Lithuania, and more.

Another eerie electro groover with a dark and Detroit feel the sounds. The bassline leaves nothing needing from it as it delivers a power melody and low - end punch with added octave synths to add to it out of the UK.

The tracks on TEARDROPS express our sentiments surrounding Black life, death, hypervisibility and refusal as we confront the reality that the club—like the rest of this world—can be a vulnerable space. TEARDROPS comes out of years experimenting with our hybrid DJ/live PA style of performing. Some of the songs are straight-to-tape recordings, others are edits we use in those same sets and one is an original track inspired directly by our experiences in the club.
