Set phasers to wobble as Kelbin confronts his alter ego DJ Floor in a battle for dislocated dancefloor supremacy. The latest notch in the PM+ bedpost sees the Italian producer and self-described VCV Rack enthusiast conjure up some devilishly off-kilter synth licks looped up and strapped to a nasty, funked-up techno undercarriage.
 
'Wiper' is mostly a rugged, swung 4X4 workout splashed with plasticine synth zaps, but the glorious melodic flourish at the mid-section adds a machine soul dimension to the Kelbin sound that offsets the swampy sound FX beautifully. Or is that part of the DJ Floor sound?
 
The shuffled beats continue apace on 'Stamper', nodding to fidget house and 00s minimal in that canny arrangement of swinging bleeps that hit right at the front of the mix. Expertly constructed for maximum release, this must surely be where DJ Floor comes into his own. Or maybe that's what Kelbin wants you to think?
 
Bright and brash but chiseled into shape with an expert touch, this is the kind of crooked brain-melting gear that PM+ lives for.

London-based Indian producer Noni-Mouse debuts on Early Reflex with Eyes IV, the latest installment in the label’s Eyes two-tracker series. On Eyes IV, she dives into a darker, more physical register—retaining her unmistakable bounce while testing the limits of a more abrasive, stripped-back sound.Opening track “Bracket” lays down lurching breakbeat mechanics and squashed bass beneath flickers of manipulated vocal and synth debris—skipping along the edge of chaos with precision and swing. “Model” stretches out the mood with tense pacing and syncopated drum work, where melodic fragments smear across a pulsing low-end and flickering hi-hats, creating a hypnotic pull built for strobe-lit floors.Eyes IV is a statement of intent from one of the most forward-thinking voices in the contemporary underground—a sharp-edged, club-ready exploration of rhythm and tone from an artist who continues to surprise.

@haiori is a Hungarian sound designer and producer. Straddling ambient, deconstructivist IDM, and a devout though iconoclastic reworking of styles from across the dance music continuum, Haiori’s work, composed of singles and releases on comps such as 111records’ sync2, evinces a rare artist able to occupy the possibility-space of one field while ingurgitating, saluting and remodelling a wider spectrum of club sounds.

Haiori’s Realist mix exemplifies this faithful yet interrogative style. Wobbly DnB tunes peppered with the creakings of glitch, tracks like tearout trap beats spoken out a disk drive’s turbulent emotions, hadopelagic rollers, glitch-hop recontextualised as not the subversion of pattern alone but the evocation of something feelingly palpable in Haiori’s  blend of subsurface, computational liveliness and tangible naturality. Variations on a recent theme, what perhaps defines this mix. The simultaneity of the fervency of computational, sonic disruption... sub-bass frequencies scrambled and implacable enough to signify encoded souls aside an astounding fidelity of earthliness - of the voice’s salvific oneness or the inborne sonorities of the chimes of wind and reverberative material. A series of momentum, a constancy to the structures of dance, renewed repeatedly by Haiori’s musical steadfastness. A steadfastness which translates not obedience but the seeing of every form as ripe for sincere revision.
