Hello and welcome! Jade and Paul here, asking the age-old question: “To remake? Or not to remake?"
With all the sequels and film franchises cluttering up the modern cinema and television scene, we want to know how many of them actually hold up to the original property.
With regard to the current "remake mania", we wonder:
What is it all for? Is it really worth it? Are these remake-happy, sequelphile producers and directors going too far? Has originality, in fact, got in the way of the proverbial dodo himself?
And yes, we dare to ask of our favorite films; “SHALL WE COMPARE THEE?” 

Join us on our deep-dive journey into the world of our favorite filmmakers, actors, screenwriters and cinematic geniuses. We will explore classic film and television gems and compare them to their modern, re-imagined/serialized counterparts and decide which one gets to live on and which one gets the kiss-off, baby!
We intend to boldly go where no Podcaster has gone before. So allow us to light the way as we invite you to come along on a perilous trip down remake lane and many sequel rabbit holes.
Was Dorothy was right all along? Is there truly no place like "home"?
