An exploration of living with depression, specifically during lockdown 2020 and feeling as though there's no way to decipher where the line between you and your mind is. Although a dark subject matter, the song is ultimately hopeful.

on the line sits in that awkward place after a breakup when you don't really know where you stand with the other place.

Why Aren’t You In Love With Me?

For as long as I can remember I have always loved a good pop song. Whether I was learning music video dance routines or trying to copy the riffs and ad-libs from a song, I knew that I wanted to create music too. I took my very basic skills and an old MIDI and started to mess about making songs. In 2020 I finally started taking that a bit more seriously and realised that I could release music if I wanted to and no-one was going to encourage me so I had better just do it for myself. Now I am adding my songs to this uploader in the hopes that maybe one of them resonates with someone and could reach a larger platform. 

I love that feeling when you hear a song that cuts straight to a feeling that you recognise within yourself and I hope my songs can do the same. If it's dancing in your bedroom or a song for when you need to 'ugly-cry', that's what I'm making and I really hope you enjoy it!
