Originally from WV, I moved to Dayton, Ohio in 2013. Fortunately, this led to more accessibility to shows/scenes that weren't so prominent where I'm from. I would call my sound style a concoction of ambient, drone, and noise...for this Hearse Case Scenario project anyhow. I use the term Ambientdronoise. I have a few other projects that have various amounts of each of these elements, 
depending on the project. Prior to now, I have put out Noise releases under Stalk Market, Conviction Notice and Nephesh. On the ambient side of things, I recently started releasing material under the moniker Pharos, which has gotten decent reception. But Carbon Son has been my main ambient drone project since late 2019. I started that project first, mainly due to my fascination with ambient and drone music. Afterwards, it seems that it was in the cards to 
incorporate some Noise textures in there, hence creating the other projects. Moving forward with Noise, I'll be performing as Hearse Case Scenario mainly although I may pull a Stalk Market track out of the blue occasionally.

Mike Storm´s continues his concept works for Axis - The Escape Velocity. „The Symposium“ is the second chapter of an album duet dedicated to communication with aliens. 
While „Universal Grammar“ (release November 26th) is engaged in the question if a new language could be created for the specific purpose of talking to aliens, „The Symposium“ continues with his musical occupation to answer further questions.

How do we create a Universal Grammar? 
The Symposium is starting to find out how we can develop this before it‘s too late. 
Because we know when two creatures don‘t understand each other, it usually doesn‘t work out well.

How could you devise a message for intelligent creatures from another planet? They wouldn’t know any human language. 
Their ‘speech’ might be as different from ours as the eerie cries of whales or the twinkling lights of fireflies. 
Their cultural and scientific history would have followed its own path. 
Their minds might not even work like ours. 
Would the deep structure of language, its so called ‘universal grammar’ be the same for aliens as for us?

If we want to construct and transmit messages to the planets of relatively nearby stars, hoping for a response. 
We can design interstellar messages that can be understood by non-human minds. 
But the question is of whether the deep underlying structure of language would likely be the same for extraterrestrials as for us?

We think that alien creatures might function together as a collective mind. 
But we doubts, though, that such an entities could evolve human-like technological intelligence without trigger a runaway explosion of intelligence. 
We will be able to understand aliens, only if “it turns out that the evolution of extraterrestrial life forms is highly convergent with our own”.

If extraterrestrial civilizations exist, the nearest is probably at least hundreds or thousands of light years away. 
Still, the greatest gulf that we will have to bridge to communicate with extraterrestrials is not such distances, but the gulf between human and alien minds.

The Symposium

Premiere: Mike Storm - Convergent With Our Own [Axis Records]

The 1st of April next month marks two years since the birth of mould.audio. For this occasion we have the pleasure of presenting the second instalment on our Collector's Series on the the label which was launched in November 2021.
[mldcs002] embodies Ruben Ganev's evolution into a deeper creative mindset and technical workflow. The project consists of four nocturnal constructs, which all together form a sonic trek which serves as a grounding tool for the body and the mind and thus continues the plot from the first instalment on the Collector’s Series [mldcs001].

The first ambient piece “Transition” serves as a prelude to the EP and the inspiration behind it is an ambient project made in 2003 by Virginia Zaharieva. The heart of the project, called House of Medusa, is a Roman Water Cistern in Istanbul’s Basilica, a place which gives us the vivid feeling of distance and space. It creates the sense of residing on a windy interplanetary station, or in catacombs where people and otherworldly creatures roam. A place which compliments the ones who are brave enough to meet their fears through embracing the unveiled shadows lurking in them to eventually illuminate a space for individual expression.

The second piece “Circuits” unfolds the sense of space created in the overture and evolves into sonic formations inspired by elemental natural disasters such as thunderstorms, earthquakes or witnessing magnetic or electro-static occurrences on a bigger scale. A combinational blend of poly-rhythmic structures serve as soil for sonic elements which symbolise such forces in the distance which are beyond our control. Thus the piece explores a realm in which there is a relationship between what can be “expected” and this which can not be foreseen, relating to the same occurrences in nature. Predictable, and yet only to an extent.

The third piece “Remnant” is about the archetypal journey of the hero: contrasts, challenges, losses, sacrifices and victories.
Remnant reflects what is left after all obstacles and what makes us worthy of an existence in a better world.

The fourth and last piece of the EP is a composition which also uses contrast in search of equilibrium.
“Navigator” is a ticket to another constellation of sounds, and with its tribal feel and warm low-end groove, it prepares us for a giant leap.

Adrian started his journey with electronic music as a teenager through listening and raving in his hometown, after moving to Manchester in his early twenties started DJing and producing Drum&Bass and Jungle music, under the alias ''Skeebz'' After few years he started new alias "SKZ"

Since 2020 Adrian is focused on groovey and fast paced rhytms, also started collective event series called „Vague Collective’’ with his friends.

From this mix expect late 90/early 2000 vibes precisely mixed with fresh sounding new productions.

SKZ to Dj, producent i promotor pochodzący z Olsztyna, rezydujący w Manchesterze (UK).  Adrian rozpoczął swoją podróż z muzyką elektroniczną jako aktywny słuchacz i imprezowicz w swoim rodzinnym mieście. Po przeprowadzce do Manchesteru zaczął mixować i produkować Drum&Bass i Jungle pod pseudonimem Skeebz.  Po paru latach swojej działalności zmieniając gatunek swoich selekcji rozpoczął działalność jako SKZ. Od 2020 roku skupił się na szybkim techno przepełnionym soczystym groovem i dynamicznymi loopami.
