With everything that is happening in Paris and the way people are opening up their homes to each other, I'm not sure what's more overwhelming: the pain others can inflict on each other or the incredible love they can show one another. It's during times of tragedy that I am especially moved by those who choose to run toward the disaster, into the dangerous places where most fear to go. I am moved on a deep level by selflessness, love and the way the good in humanity always shows itself even during the darkest of hours. This song wasn't set to be released until the beginning of next year but I'm choosing to share it with you today as a reminder that love will always prevail... and to thank those whose first response is to dive into the madness, step outside of their own fear and to choose love for their neighbor above all else. "So run toward sadness and calamity. Run and be the love you wanna see. So many good hearts are out there. So I'm putting my faith in you and me."
