In memory of my late husband - I participated in an online livestream fundraiser for Lockdown Legends to raise money for The Mental Health Foundation New Zealand on the 06th August 2022. Along with a good friend, in a back to back format, this is the recording of the mix we performed together, featuring our favourite Hardhouse tunes. What a great way to honour our dear James. Enjoy!

Live Freestyle Jam with DJ Jen-E playing her breakbeat selection for the Femme Fatales night with MC Shureshock on the MIC.
One thing i always loved about Jen's sets over the nearly 30 years we have been jamming together is the breakbeat sensibility of her selections. 
Whether its Gabba Techno , Hard core , trance it all had beautiful open sections of breaks where my MC work fit nicely and made our freestyle sessions a pleasure and a joy to work with as i always knew there was space coming even if i didn't know the tracks.
This is a Raw live recording so no production awards on this one , though the energy of the crowd is captured in the background with lots of excitement and shouts out to "freedom from masks" after Covid lock downs and the freedom to be dancing in a club again mask free.

2023 Recap Mixture

After a decade of enjoying the harder edge of dance music, Jade has emerged as a House DJ enjoying a variety of sub-genres including Tech House, Classic House and Progressive. Following a desired passion to be more creative and diverse with music has seen her accelerate to playing for a number of stellar promotions in Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington). 

The A.M Club, Signature Socials and Aotearoa DJs have all added to Jade's success in sharing music during live sets in the last few years. Recently appointed to join The Housing Project crew on Radio Active FM Saturday evenings has a been 2022 highlight this year. 

She has continued to bring the fun and energetic side of House music to the forefront of her DJ sets. And looking forward to doing so a heap more.
