Jad Kadi is a musician and electronic music DJ based in Montreal. Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, he started playing the piano at the age of 5, further developing his musical abilities by teaching himself how to play other instruments throughout his infancy. Today, Jad is a versatile DJ and runs the artist collective Kinetic Montreal (kntc) as he shares his love for the deep, underground and electric sound he has developed over the years inspired by different types of international electronic music pioneers. His sound lies within a fine range of house and techno, but assigning stern genres to music and mixes doesn't make much sense to him anymore. In his opinion, it's kind of awkward describing tracks he enjoys that contain a bit of everything; there are just so many styles and possibilities to be mixed uncovering unexplored sonic pleasures.
