Daniel "Blackbelt" Anderson has been a noted figure in the Norwegian dance community since the early 90's. A producer/composer of note, he released his early production efforts on Restructured recordings and Prin Thomas' first label Tamburin. As the decade progressed he began dj'ing more in Norway and building his skills, subsequently releasing music on Full Pupp (2 lps!), Claremont 56, and Trailerpark. He has numerous remixes on labels like Diskomo, Solar Disco, Zimmer and Grand Blanc records. A cool cat who has been spending time working on new material, we are happy that he dropped this mix for us.

Our first repeat offender, Jason Drummond (DJ Spun) has been ripping up parties on both coasts for several decades. Be on the lookout for remixes for Hokis Pokis, Loose Control Band and the BlackSpun ep coming soon. J is one of our main peeps, and a busy guy who has wisely avoided the NYC tundra, so we are glad he got to our studios to do this mix.

Eternal Love are an Italian duo quietly making waves. They are about to release their second single on Music From Memory's Second Circle label and pull together the classic Italian sounds of Italo new wave, cosmic, tribal and afro through to 90s electronica but done with a modern take. A trusted source saw them play at the Living Room in NY recently and said 'they were just great. Like sweet 105bpm balearic business that you'd never heard before'. Which, lets be honest, sounds very much up our street. Enjoy the mix. It's super nice.
