My remake I made in Ableton Live of [Chainsmokers - Roses.] Challenge was to make this track nearly 100% identical to the original version to every last detail, with only the use of the raw studio vocals to really test my production skills. Had to take it back to basics with this one. A dope boom-bap vibe mixed in with some crazy rhyme schemes/lyrics is always refreshing to listen to. This is definitely my favorite track, the raw NYC feel to this whole project really made me proud of the outcome. No track last week as I was filming a music video and got caught up in various studio sessions that lasted pretty much the whole day. The bright side is I'm ending 2018 with a bang. Expect a wave of music soon.
