Phil and Terry were the residents in the main room of the Phoenix from 1997 - 2006, playing a euphoric mix of house and trance. This mix is from 2003 and was given out on Tangled's 10th birthday.

This mix has just been dug from the vaults of Tangled. Its a non-stop mix of classic tunes that shaped the sound of the upstairs room of the Phoenix where Manchesters longest running clubnight was held every week from 1997 - 2006. Tangled is a 2 room clubnight with room1 playing house, techno and trance and room2 playing a funky variety of bass infused breaks and beats. This mix was given out on the 12th birthday at the Phoenix back in 2005.

On Saturday 6th September Manchesters longest running clubnight Tangled closed its doors after 21 years of providing the clubbers of Manchester with a hedonistic soundtrack to rave to on a regular basis. This mix is not the live recording but very similar to the set that was played last in the breaks room from 2.30am - 4am. All the tunes are the same, just a few in a different order due to memory loss. Myself and Tangled Breaks resident Nick Dent went back 2 back for the first hour with myself playing the last half hour. The music was amazing and the atmosphere was electric and ecstatic. Classic breaks anthems from over the years at Tangled. Tune after tune after tune... Tune in, Turn it up, Have it large one last Tangled time!! .... until the reunion in a few years :)

Hard House Euphoria Mixed By Lisa Lashes - CD2 - (2000)

I was the Saturday night resident DJ in the METRO Saltcoats nightclub in Ayrshire (Scotland) back in 1998 until 2000. 
If you've never heard of the club, it was arguably Scotland's #1 club away back in the day - and in July of this year, after a long 25 years, I returned to the infamous venue to play a 4.5 hour OTC 'trance classics' set to celebrate the music that I used to play back then - and also celebrate my 30th year as a DJ at the same time!

Here is the recording from the night, big thanks to everyone that I saw on the night, it was a big one!  :)
