So you're Just Her. You've had a successful run as engineer and songwriter for Crosstown Rebels affiliates Him_Self_Her, and you're starting to make waves a solo artist with an EP on Suara; what do you do next? Set up a label, of course!

The brainchild of Leicester's favourite daughter, Constant Circles kicks off in style with the shadowy grooves of 'Silence'. Mellow, yet eerily sinister, the track showcases Just Her's skill at building strong emotions through minimal design. And when that little garage-like shuffle drops in - well we may have even swooned a little.

The debut release from the Dama Dama label comes from co-founder Pedestrian in the shape of "Circadian Rhythms” - a 4 track concept EP. Each track represents a different time of day throughout the 24 hour cycle, with the 12” divided into a “Day Side” and a “Night Side”.

The day begins with “Simple Minded At Dawn”, a sleepy, beat-less meditation constructed of heavily processed electric pianos and cellos, and then moves onto the hazy summer’s afternoon cut of “Deep In Daylight”. Flip it over and day turns into night where things start to get a little deeper and darker with “Torn Blue”, a peak time dance floor number which steadily builds in intensity and crescendos into “JNT". A 4am 2-step roller, the EP’s closing number is a collaboration with label co-founders Maribou State which works its way into a climax of looping African vocals, synths and strings before breaking into a blissful wind down where “Simple Minded At Dawn” starts fading back in, emphasising the cyclical nature of night turning into day and prompting the listener to flip it once again and repeat the process.

French duo Birds of Mind makes its debut on Underyourskin Records with one of the most outstanding tunes in recent House history . ‘Flying Through the Soul‘ perfectly prepares dancefloors in summer for a spiritual and emotional ride full of hope, mournfulness, severity and melancholy expressed through a shaman vocal chant that unfolds its power in the deepness of the synth melody with additional folk samples. Just Emma‘s remix lowers the tempo of the original adding their magnificant crunchy baseline and flavoring the melody with groaning synth sounds that make the track more and more hypnotical in the course implementing these engrossing chants to have a start to finish winning. The second remix comes from Dutch producer El Mundo who adds an Iberian touch to the track by bringing in a Mediterranian guitar that points out the confidence. Birds of Mind‘s second tune ‘Palang Kuh‘ completes the EP with a synth-driven downtempo vibe with arps flying around like boomerangs cutting the air.

When Return of the Jaded and P.A.C.O. joined forces, they gave birth to their first sound-baby called “Nights Watch“. The track went on to receive vast international support garnering multiple plays on BBC Radio 1. Apparently this was only the beginning of an ongoing fertile friendship between the talented Canadian duo and the Kittball member. A few months and several whisky bottles later they decided to join forces once again.
