Hauswife is a Berlin-born, Naarm (Melbourne) based musician, producer and DJ. She currently has two EP releases that combine garage and breakbeat rhythm with lo-fi energy. Her live sets showcase genre bending house, with gritty grooves and driving bass lines that breathe feminine energy. Hauswife has stamped a unique house sound, with selective and dynamic sets.

Tonight we have a recording from our event before last that we know you’ve been waiting to listen back to.

The Mid Week Mix series aims to give you a little taste test of what can be expected at one of The Sound Project’s events and Fosta’s recording from his warm up set for Miza - Under The Lamp absolutely slaps!!

Originally from Tasmania but having lived in London, Europe and Naarm in the last five years, Clare Choveaux’s music taste spans from uplifting house, to heavy techno and ravey breaks. The underlying theme within her sonic aesthetic is inspired by the rave scene, drawing inspiration from the likes of FJAAK and Roza Terenzi. A regular feature at a Novel showcase, Clare has also performed at Glamorama, Electric, The Third Day, and Naarm’s newly opened ATET. This mix showcases Clare’s style perfectly, full of high-energy hard house, breaks, trance and UK garage.
