Shake It Shake It

Jah Jamez is an Los Angeles, CA based singer, song writer, and R&B Artist. For as long as he can remember music has been an integral part of his life. His aspirations for music began at the age of 9 where he learned the value of authentic music while being raised by his mother and grandmother in Baltimore, MD. His roots also stem from Buffalo, NY where one of his influences and friend of his mother’s family Rick James was born and raised. With other major influences such as James Brown, Michael Jackson, Jodeci, Lauryn Hill, Frank Ocean, Usher, and Jay Z. By his mid-teens he began to establish the type of artist he wanted to become vocally and lyrically. He is a proud graduate of the HBCU Morgan State University and the Baltimore School for the Arts. While attending these institutions he realized his love for music and songwriting had grown deeper as he exemplified his talents through local shows, youth stages, and events with a dream of one day progressing into sold out concerts worldwide. He released his first song titled “Shake It Shake It” which grew his fan support base overnight because of the songs upbeat sounds and sultry vocals. Fast forward to now, he is currently working on completing his next EP titled VENT and officially establishing himself as a future legend of R&B music.
