We introduce you this month to the mindblowing universe of Jilo,  producer,  versatile DJ, and computer music researcher from Rennes, France.

We've been following Jilo since he launched  this great exercise of dowmntepo-balearica that was "Into the Sunwinds". As a DJ, Jilo showcases a diverse and eclectic style, always moving between balearic beat, downtempo, and house music.

A guy who's on an endless voyage, riding ethereal waves and pushing musical boundaries, definitely an artist to keep an eye on.

[FREE DL] Sanpe - East Energy (Scratch Mix)

This mix was conceived and began manifesting during my latest trip to Colombia, but it is also inspired by my past trips to Latin America and the jungle. In a way Trippy Tropicalia encompasses my images and feelings from the Caribbean paradise, the cloud forests and mid-altitude jungle, the breathtaking Andes, the busy street markets, all the way to the vastness of the remote and untouched Pacific coast with its lush jungle.

Definitely electronic with a tropical feel, but also with an undoubtedly trippy twist to it, with the intention to make the body move and the soul drift to tropical, dreamy, and sometimes obscure places for a peek into these dark corners.

Part 1 of the mix moves from downtempo to more energetic fields. Part 2 will soon follow.

I hope you enjoy the mix as much as I did while collecting and blending the tunes together <3
