Due to the massive technological development, humanity needs more and more energy sources to keep all its inventions stable. People have become hostages of their own creations. By the nature of their greed and curiosity, they make an ambiguous decision that endangers life on Earth.
The main source of energy is the Sun, but its energy is not enough for all the needs of mankind. Scientists are inventing a substance that, when interacting with the Earth's atmosphere, will allow the sun's rays to reach the lower layers of the planet more intensely, while not exposing people to radiation. The possible consequences are kept silent, since the project will bring huge profits. Meanwhile, numerous experiments are being conducted for the public, which confirm the safety of the project.
At first, the substance is applied locally, but due to positive results, more and more countries are forced to spray the substance into the atmosphere in order to compete with more technologically advanced states.
For decades, the project has been successful, but soon unexpected consequences will appear that exponentially lead the planet to catastrophic consequences. There are new chemical reactions unknown to man in the atmosphere, which could lead to the complete destruction of the ozone layer. The sun's rays would then penetrate the planet with expansive intensity, which leads to the gradual destruction of all life on Earth

Radio telescopes around the world receive a range of intense radio signals. After studying the data, scientists from different countries unanimously exclude the possibility of interference caused by cosmic noise. The signals arrive in a logical order at 1420 MHz (the frequency of neutral hydrogen atoms). At an international meeting of astrophysicists, the artificial origin of the signals is finally confirmed, and it is announced that the signals came from the KOI-3010 star system, located at a distance of 1213 light years from the Sun. Such a distance would create an obstacle to a response signal, which leads scientists to believe that the civilization sending the signal must surpass humanity in technological development by many hundreds and possibly thousands of years.

Radio signals continue to arrive every year for seven years. During this time, all attempts to decode the signal fail.

More and more countries stop fighting wars and start focusing on developing common international space technologies. For the first time, something is connecting people from around the world, regardless of nationality, culture, or religion. They become increasingly less focused on their own state and more deeply concerned about the planet as a whole. Fear of the unknown is pacifying human behavior.

Despite enormous technological developments, the meaning of the messages remains unclear for hundreds of years. However, after studying the history of their ancestors during the first years of receiving the radio signals, scientists note that humanity, on the verge of self-destruction, radically changed its attitude towards the world around it. Wars and poverty started to end, the economic balance between countries began to stabilize, and more and more people gained access to education. Humanity learned to live in harmony with nature.

Perhaps this was the meaning of the messages, thanks to which people have managed to move to intelligent civilization’s next stage of development...

Scientists have recorded extreme magma activity and changes in the Earth’s core, leading to tectonic shifts that have destabilized the planet’s crust and triggered a terrifying process—the collapse of the Earth’s structure. Volcanic regions are forming, mega-earthquakes are shaking the land, floods are sweeping across continents. This is the last, very last day of my life..."
A biological robot—a girl—and her partner, a human, are in their apartment on the 15th floor of a skyscraper. They feel the ground tremble and watch in horror as buildings across the street collapse and floods engulf the city. The young man sits, his face as still as stone, in a chair by the window, observing the catastrophe. His android girlfriend perceives the destruction of their world differently. Fear does not completely engulf her; she can control her emotions. She understands that the world is falling apart and that they have only a few minutes left.
In this apogee point, she suggests to her partner not to succumb to fear and despair, but to focus on the two of them, on their love. She distracts him, transforming his panic into a sense of peace. The heat is in the room; they look into each other’s eyes, music plays, and the walls shake and crumble. She keeps her gaze on him, and they share a kiss, filled with tenderness and understanding, in the final moment of their existence.

Each of the stories, raised from the very depths of the soul and mind of the authors, are grown and developed in their dramaturgy, and they appear before the listener, seasoned with gloomy notes and sharp poetry. The listener themself will be immersed in the center of each story, enveloped in an aura of electronic sounds. They will feel as if they were the main character. But first of all, “Jahrund” is our micro-universe, which we have been building for a very long time and diligently achieving an absolute and uncompromising response to our inner world, our worldview, our beliefs, and our principles.
