'Itinerant' is the new album from Manchester based producer Fthmlss. A project inherently defined by the process in which it was created, born in a transportable studio across multiple landscapes and various spots of natural beauty. This is composing in its rawest form drawing from a total immersion in new surroundings.

Above all else it is an ode to the wilderness, created in the wilderness far away from the conventional studio. It's a cathartic record heavily informed by the environments it was produced in, and acts very much as a detox for this artist who is becoming known for his detailed, yet accessible, conceptual works that elevate him above the average beatmaker on the scene today.

Continuously expressing a clear desire to grow his sound further and explore more, he has readily taken in new sonic influences from a wide array of electronica, hip hop, and ambient styles of music, and isn’t afraid to explore them with enthusiasm alongside new recording locations.

Since joining Asta Hiroki’s Folded Music imprint with his EP ‘Anxious’, he has quickly gained even more high-profile fans across radio and press, including BBC 6Music, FIP, France Inter, Radio Eins, XLR8R, CLASH, Magnetic Mag, and College Music.

The final single from the campaign is 'Nomad' coming on 14th June. A track that despite its rich, intricate layers of sound, maintains a decidedly chilled and flowing vibe. More contrasting dynamics come through and with these contrasts, the brilliance of his diverse layers and sounds may be overlooked. The smoothness of the track is extremely impressive and comes from a producer in fine form and who may well be the unsung downtempo artist today.
