David aka Benzine, jeune artiste de 20 ans, pas très à l’aise avec l’outil informatique, il compose en dawless (sans logiciel), à l’aide de samplers, synthés et pédales d’effet. Cette manière de produire lui tient à cœur car elle permet de se rapprocher au maximum de la magie d’un son joué en live.

Parmi les nombreux styles qui l’inspirent, le dub s’est imposé comme le plus adapté à l’univers qu'il essaie de créer. Cela n’empêche pas quelques déviances. 

Il vous présente son premier EP : « Oasis ». 
Un voyage ambiant, orientale et aquatique.

Premier EP commun entre les deux artistes Belges Psiloshock et System 53, "Brotherhood" est la fusion de leur deux mondes musicaux. 
Le premier ayant explorer le monde du Dubstep et de la Drum & Bass, et le second le Trip-Hop et le Dub, le rendu de l'EP part dans tous les sens et offre une expérience plutôt éclectique aux influences variées : Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Dub, Electro, Breakbeat etc...
Les deux artistes jonglent entre les styles tout au long de l'EP, contrôlant le chaos, comme s'ils avaient ouvert la porte de la vérité.
(Le projet fait, bien entendu, énormément référence au manga FMA)

Vétérans de longue date, c’est un grand plaisir pour nous que d’accueillir en cette rentrée le trio The Biologists pour leur nouvel album et première parution chez SoundRising !
C’est forts de nombreuses dates à leur actif dans toute la France et même dans une partie de l’Europe, qu’ils nous proposent ce nouvel opus « Urban Safari ». Sauvagement encré dans l’electro dub et ses nombreuses formes, cet album de douze titres démontre la diversité de la palette sonore du trio, allant même jusqu’à s’offrir de magnifiques escalades Électro et Hip-Hop ainsi que des featuring avec Thomas Anton, Janiss Anton et The Colored Buttons Pusher.

Tripedal Crow Records gives away this free download EP as preparement for the upcoming 12" vinyl releases.

Arirang is a Korean folk song describing the travails encountered by the subject of the song while crossing a mountain pass. The mentioned Arirang Gogae (=pass) is an imaginary rendezvous of lovers in the land of dreams. In this version JahYu puts the poetic mystic of the song into a bass-driven Dubstep context ready to make the dancehall enter the land of dreams.

The lotus is omnipresent in Korean culture. Not only the blossoms but also the roots, the leafy pads – the whole flower. It shows up in literature, art, architecture, music and even in food. The lotus is a symbol of Buddhism. Either pink or white, it can bloom in even the foulest water; it retains its beauty without letting its environment taint its pure nature. The flower signifies a spiritual paradise.

JahYu: the Korean word for ‘freedom’, this is an artist whose music is rooted in the notion of freedom, freedom of sound, freedom of expression, freedom from mind and freedom of the soul. JahYu uses his creative freedom to connect directly with his ancestors and create music that somehow transports the listener through time and space. Oriental flute and string melodies slide effortlessly amongst powerful roots-based dubstep, creating a sound that is unique and full of flavour. This enigmatic Korean-German producer blends both sides of his heritage, the digital steppers that emerged from Europe in the 1990’s alongside the traditional oriental music of his mother’s homeland, Korea, augmented by a deeper exploration of contemporary bass music. JahYu’s productions provide us with the opportunity to discover our ancestral roots through music. Roots music is not a sound, it is a feeling and a feeling that JahYu is able to evoke with profound intensity.
