"The Bird for String Quartet" is a song from my musical experiment, The ReMix Tape.  It was inspired by Anderson .Paak's "The Bird," and I arranged it in a string quartet style with a piano accompaniment and added percussion after a few measures to get it into a groove.  It was intended to imitate what sometimes happens when a group of musicians starts a song that maybe they've never played together before, other musicians are added in, then by the end it all clicks.

Gnaws"" is a track from my musical experiment, The ReMix Tape.  It was inspired by Rae Sremmurd's "Swang,"and I took a slightly different approach with this one than I did with most of the other tracks.  With "Gnaws," I decided to focus more on my production skills than my violin skills.

The ReMix Tape is a compilation of original arrangements inspired by songs I thought made a great canvas for musical alteration and improvisation. It is a musical experiment of sorts. Some songs sound similar to the original while several abandoned the themes of the original songs completely. I hope listeners enjoy the music as much as I enjoyed this creative process.
