This is the moment it steps back.

Redemption City has learned how to mistake provision for permission. Systems are strong. Walls are high. Momentum feels like blessing. Mercy has been received so long it is assumed to be infinite, automatic, owed.

So Gloryfall withdraws its hand.

Not its presence.
Not its love.
Its covering.

This is No Mercy.

The City does not collapse immediately. That is the deception. It keeps moving, keeps trading, keeps celebrating itself. But something is missing. The ground feels colder. The victories feel hollow. The silence between moments grows heavier than the noise.

Chains remain intact. Not tightened. Not broken. Simply visible.

This is where Gloryfall becomes unbearable to ignore. Not because it acts, but because it does not intervene. Strength is left to prove itself. Power is allowed to stand alone.

And it cannot.

No Mercy is not judgment landing.
It is judgment waiting.

It is the space where the City discovers that mercy was never a resource. It was a relationship. And without it, everything still functions, but nothing lives.

Gloryfall remains present in the distance. Watching. Recording. Holding the weight steady.

The silence is intentional.

This is not the end.
This is the dark that teaches the name of the light.

Mercy will return.
But only after absence has done its work.
