When I started music, I was sad and angry and needed a way to express myself. I believe the best music comes from dark spaces. This is a result of those times. This was one of the first songs I ever made along with "I Been Callin". Years later, Ive revisited after not putting out music for over 6 months. I was so consumed with my full time job, trying to secure my life. Covid-19 put so much into perspective while giving me the opportunity to work from home. Reminded me that there is much more to life and not many people choose their well being  over the check. From another stand point, watching my brothers and sisters being sensuously killed by cops has dimmed my light, had made me lose faith in our society and has brought me back to the notion that LOVE is the most important thing. It is the only thing that matters, truly, and its the only thing to combat hate. It is the center of a lot of my subject matter, whether it has lifted me or broken me. To anyone Ive loved, I hope you're still growing in love. To anyone who has loved me back, Thank you.
