After the widely successful release of „Summer in Jakarta“, Jakarta Records figured it’s time to gather some artist we like, work and/or are friends with again for the second installment of the loose series. „Winter In Jakarta“ features all unreleased material by artists such as Stwo, IAMNOBODI, Mura Masa, Oddisee, Guts, L’Orange, Suff Daddy and many more. The last couple of years have been huge for Pomo, going from a relatively obscure Canadian producer to releasing his debut EP on HW&W, remixing for the likes of Janet Jackson and Mark Ronson, producing “Am I Wrong?” on Anderson Paak’s debt album and touring the globe with Disclosure as their opening act. 

Bastard Jazz has commissioned Pomo to be next in line for the fourth volume of their "Tempo Dreams" compilation series, following on the heels of the acclaimed Soul Clap compiled Vol. 3. As with other Tempo Dreams records, Pomo has curated a slick and well polished album full of exclusive tracks from friends and collaborators such as Lindsay Lowend, Aloka, Exmag, Syre, Daniel Crawford, FVLCRVM and more.  Touching on the shimmering nudisco sound, plodding deep electronic vibes, funky instrumental hip-hop, and even a hint of drum’n’bass, Tempo Dreams Vol. 4 takes it’s rightful place in the series as one of the most forward thinking compilations showcasing emerging young talent.

MPM welcomes Melodiesinfonie! "Be Thankful" is the second album by the Swiss producer and musician, who first stepped onto the scene via his EPs on Soulection. A son of a dedicated jazz fan, Melodiessinfonie grows up surrounded by his dad's audiophile record collection. He becomes a drummer and plays in a couple of experimental psych rock bands. 20 years later, he is one of todsays most promising and challenging producers. Jazz is definitley the teacher, when it comes to Melodiesinfonie's music and without Dilla he would sound different as well. Which can be said about many beatmakers but doesn't do justice to Melodiesinfonie. He is a free spirit who creates his music unaffected from the boundaries of musical genres and business policies. Musicality, vision and spirituality are the cornerstones on which "Be Thankful" is build. The album features musical friends like Marla, Miles Bonny, Djemeia, Anja Joie, Christian Crow, Nothoya and Wodoo Wolcan. It is also the first kollabo between MPM and Boyoom Connective, the artist collective founded by Meldiesinfonie and Maloon The Boom.
