It's really nice, to be able to have a mix, and use lots of tunes from some of my favourite SoundCloud Artists/Friends, I wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary, just having a go, see what worked with what! Apologies for this mix being a bit long! it's the first one I've done for a little over two weeks, which for me, is a fucking long time!
Why?  Because I'm a complete and utter fuck up and a pain in my own ass, and also my own worse enemy!  Or to put it simply and shorter, I'm an Alcoholic, not a chronic one, just one, I really let myself down, and I'd been doing so well!!!
I think this mix is okay, there may be a shit bit in the middle somewhere, but it doesn't last long, it kind of pisses me off though, why someone would release a 4 track Ep, all with bpm's within a factor of 2 or 3, and then make one of the tracks not sync!  I've said this before, mostly to let people know that I'm not hiding anything or trying to pull the wool over anybody's eyes!
I mostly use beat sync, and I really don't have a problem with it, I don't see it as cheating, and tbh, my brain wouldn't be able to cope with mixing 3 or 4 tracks at the same time without using beat sync!!!
My brain can only just cope while using sync! Lol  Someone has finally done a video on you tube about it, and it turns out that a lot of big name DJ's are now using beat sync!  So to any Beat Sync Haters, I say "Fuck You" as I don't care, my DJing is not about my DJ skills (don't really have any!) It's about MUSIC 😜

Keir Starmer Is A Fucking Knobhead

I could probably have mixed a couple more styles of hard dance in, but I think these four were plenty enough!!! Acid Techno doesn't have Hard in it, but it's a bloody hard style of music none the less!
When I first got into rave music, Hard House hadn't quite developed it's unique sound, and when it did, that's what I used to mix mostly on my Technics 1210's, but I never found it an easy style to mix, too many breaks for my liking, I got quite in to Psychedelic Trance, there were loads of good labels in the 90's, and it was quite interesting to see how it progressed over the years, into Psytrance.
Over the course of many years, I mixed many types of electronic music, I think after Psychedelic Trance came Acid Techno, around 1994 - 95, I was instantly hooked! It was when I realised that Punk and Rave had truly joined forces, and most of the DJ's were from the Punk scene, well they sure looked like Punks, The Liberator DJ's and Rowland The Bastard, Punk Floyd, The best set I ever played, was at a free party at Tricky Warren Farm and was Acid Techno, playing tunes from labels like, Stay Up Forever, Routemaster, Smitten and Cluster Records, Good Fucking Times!
Unlike a lot of people I knew, I liked to keep up with the current types of rave, and eventually started to play a mixture of Techno and Progressive House, and dare I say, actually started to get quite good, to this day, Progressive House is one of my favourite types of dance music to mix, bringing tracks in stealthily as a faint sound which steadily builds until it's become the new track, with tracks lasting 10 + minutes! Awesome!!! 😻🍺🍄💊💖🦞😁
I nearly forgot to mention the photo, yes one of them is me! 😹 so fucking young!  It reminds me of pictures of the Harry Potter cast from the first movie! Lol, Fucking Hilarious!!!

A Pretty Mad Mix For A Tuesday

I will mention that I noticed a couple of brief moments of audio problems, which are a bit annoying, but don't last long enough for it to become a problem!
I never really have a plan when I start a mix, there are usually tracks that I have in mind that I will play, but not in any particular order.
After starting this mix, I soon realised that the goal was to reach 150 bpm by the end of the mix, so I could play a track by The Slits, called Typical Girls, I managed to get there, after starting the mix at 100 bpm, unfortunately Traktor crashed half way through, but it's still okay! I fucking Hate Fireworks! And I would love to see them banned!!!
I can remember when my Cats, Willow and Merlin were alive, when it got near to the 5th of November, as soon as it got to early evening and the sound of fireworks started, I would hear the airing cupboard door bang, as Merlin clawed it open, and if I was quick enough I would see Merlin launch himself off of the storage heater and disappear into the cupboard, and hide himself in amongst the clean clothes and towels!!! Bless him, quite often they would both be in there, Frightened!!!

I had a really strange day today, not a bad day, just weird!
Just over Half my journey, was in thick fog, from Wellington to Wheddon Cross, then the fog disappeared, as my truck emerged from the Damp Grey Murky Blanket of fog, I said to the chap who is working with me, and said
    "I think we deserve 10 points each, got to give them to ourselves, because no fucker else will!"
Within 15 to 20 seconds of uttering that sentence, my mate suddenly informed me that Lis in the office had sent a what's app message, showing a picture of a small key, and a short message saying  "10 points to anybody who can remember what this key is for"  😲🙃😜😁 
I was like " The vans bugged!!!" Lol

It's fair to say that I am becoming increasingly arsed off with the amount of wages that my miserly boss pays me!
Okay, so I don't have to stay there, I could look for another job!
But I know just how crap I am at looking for work, so once I get a job, I tend to stay there for as long as possible.
My boss is well known for paying his workers shit money, I am a fully qualified Bricklayer, I did a three and a half year apprenticeship and I currently earn £12.50 an hour, which is quite simply "Fucking Embarrassing" and it had better go up by next April, as the minimum wage is going to increase to £12 20!!!!

If You're Not Suffering Then You Must Be Buffering

This is the best mix I've had for some time! I had a sinus and chest infection, which kind of fucked with my hearing a bit!!! Lol Add some class A's to that and I was hearing all sorts, and I made a weird connection about sound, hearing and pressure! 🤪🙄😜😹 and the stereo in my work truck!!!
The sound only comes out of the speaker on my side, and it's crap hearing music like that, I notice a couple times recently, when I have listened to something, that while driving round a bend, and driven down a dip in the road, my ears suddenly pop, and at exactly the same moment, the other speaker kicks in! Pressure?  At home I've been having trouble with headphones only working on one side, I had some K, and tried having a mix in the phones, started okay, but became nearly impossible, I had weird pressure in my head, K does this! But I'm fucked if the phones didn't start working properly! Only then, nothing has worked properly since! Haha

I can only apologise for the lack of activity recently!!! No new mix's and not replying to comments!!!! I haven't been able to mix Jack Shit!
I kind of lost the will to live a bit, illness and depression! A bit of S.A.D maybe (Silly Amounts of Drugs! 😹) Anyway I tried several times to do a mix, but wasn't happy with any of them, until this evening!
The thing is, when a mix features tracks by people I follow and Love on SoundCloud, there's NO room for half assed shoddy DJing!!!  I haven't listened to it fully, but skipping through the mix, I thought it was fairly decent!  (unless I managed to skip past the shoddy bits! Lol)
It starts off pretty mellow and melodic, and snowballs into organised mayhem!!! And there are tracks from Flo T, Wide River, David K A Spencer and Grooveclowd, I actually got round to mixing a couple of Grooveclowd's 170 bpm tunes!!!!

I got into Punk around 1982 and not long after discovered Hardcore Punk, around 1993 I finally allowed myself to get into Rave and then got into mixing.
I got into Oldskool Hardcore and Jungle when I turned 50! better late than never I suppose. haha
