Boom! Another pretty orchestral song maybe used for the game I'm doing the music for!

I originally started this project back in late October but shortly after just left it for a while, and when trying to come up with an idea of a song to post in March I thought this was the perfect project to continue working on! It was already basically done when I picked it back up. All I needed to do was add strings, change a few things and mix it all together! I'm very happy with the way this turned out, but I might come back to it in the future if I get better string sounds to use!

This is just a little thing I made for class, so don't take it too seriously!

One of my class projects was to make a 2-3 minute song with lyrics, so this was my submission! This was my second time writing lyrics in general, and my first time actually performing them on a song! The lyrics aren't anything special, since this was my second attempt at writing lyrics in general, but I think overall it doesn't sound terrible. I had a ton of fun working on this and I hope you enjoy!

I ended up getting quite a good grade on this :)

I wanted to combine future bass music with alternative/psychedelic music genres, been super inspired by bands like beach house, tame impala, arctic monkeys and wanted to try and bridge that in with kind of an odesza, petit biscuit style electronic sound. tried to use a lot of more natural instruments with slide guitar, bells, kit snares, rides, organs,bells, and then just use those with a nice chord progression with some synths and vocal chops. the result was this
