A warp bubble is, in theoretical space travel, a region of flat space created by a wave in the geometry of spacetime, which compresses in front of the spacecraft and expands behind it. This allows for superluminal (faster than light) interstellar flight through space while maintaining the spacecraft in an inertial reference frame within the bubble, which experiences no relative acceleration, as it is the bubble itself rippling through space.

This is a collection of many of the unreleased tracks mingling on my hard drive waiting patiently for me, laden with indecision, to make a move on releasing them in a thoughtful manner. From Within The Warp Bubble (2024 All-Unreleased Mix)

I was asked to DJ at The Rendezvous under a new alias that I have been conceptualizing for quite some time. Although I was unprepared on the production side, I could not pass up the opportunity to play alongside some of my good friends and earliest influences.

Setting a meaningful tone for the entire festival weekend felt challenging yet perfect for where I want this project to go: a return to the roots of how we all got here through the vessel of golden-age trip-hop and electronica. More importantly, I wanted to blend rustic gems with the newer dancefloor-centric downtempo tracks that have been fueling my curiosity. Stepping on stage and getting to showcase some of my current and all-time favorite songs, ones that are formative to my personal music journey and @satellite_era as a growing entity, was truly a dream come true. 

I cannot emphasize how grateful I am to have been part of this transformative experience. Endless love to Tipper and The Rendezvous team for all the work they put in to make this event happen - everything was perfect from start to finish. What a privilege it was to play music at the legendary Suwannee amphitheater! I also got to reconnect with so many beautiful humans from around the country after years of sharing this community. A huge shoutout to my brother @relativitylounge for taking this adventure on with me - playing club music together at a renegade in the campsite until 7 AM is something I will never forget.

The gears are starting to turn after one of the best weekends of my life and I am so incredibly excited to share my art with you all later this year - more info on that, along with a proper introduction on this new alias very soon. Until next time.
