Huerta inaugurates his new R&R imprint with TV Slang LP. Existing in a world away from the club, Huerta picks up where his debut album Junipero left off. Intended primarily as an immersive home-listening experience, TV Slang explores rhythmic moods and ambient soundscapes: combining traces of deep house, downtempo, and a suggestion of breakbeat flavors. Partially recorded back in 2019 and subsequently completed in 2022, TV Slang is the first release on R&R, a sub-label of @leizuremusic focused on exploring more nuanced and eclectic sounds outside the rigid framework of dance music.

We’re back with another piping hot edition of TAN, featuring some fresh blood and a familiar face. 

Leading the charge is Dj Jim  - Legendary landlord and pub nobleman, supplying us with a clubby house ticket fresh off the cider press. Followed closely by our boy, Hanoi Roy - Vietnamese rollerblading icon and part-time carpet cleaner, providing something that’s deep yet driving, channeling that 80’s electro-funk feel. Next up, a fresh-faced duo, known commonly in the industry as a Pink n Stinky, but don't let that put you off, their tunes tell another story, offering nothing but class with their slick deep house and musicality. And last up, a man we’ve known about for a while but never had the pleasure of meeting. Some say he can speak to animals, some say he can’t. All we know is that he wears an eye patch and walks with a limp, and has gifted us a groovy summer soundtrack to round up our proceedings.

So there you have it, our next round of dodgy delinquents, here for a moment and gone the next!

TAN007 - Various Artist

We're super happy to have our friend Teddy on board for the third mix in our Sounds Nice series. We first heard Ted play at Dusty Flyers Club last summer. He impressed us so much that we asked him to contribute to our series as soon as he finished his set! 

The end result did not disappoint, it's a lovely journey through downtempo, breakbeat and into some creamy house. His dedication to digging is highly evident in this mix and he's firmly on our list as someone to watch out for in the years to come. We hope you enjoy!

Slam Jams is always one of the most fun elements of Holding Hands to put together because I get to combine a wide variety of banging slammy jammy vibes from across the board in one place.

This time I’ve got one track from returning peak time maestros not even noticed, one from myself (Desert Sound Colony) and two from label newcomers Mr Jones and DJ Merlín. Each one has a different flavour and it’s fair to say each one slaps harder than a 17th century gentleman brandishing his white glove.
