Incredible mixing, it`s definitely one for the headphones, LOUD, your ears will love you forever. There`s a point where you`ll say wow, there`s a point where you`ll say `kin`ell, but there`s a point where you just have to get up and dance. This is a Mix of Retro and House Tunes from 1990 to 1994 from 3 great clubs in Dublin that would later prove to set the standard on the Dublin Dance scene they are of course "The Olympic Ballroom" "the asylum" and "Sides D.C." later "Gravity.

The Mix starts off with a Big Sides anthem "Void - Orcana" and quickly progresses and moves through a few different styles and touches on iconic dance floor moments from each club. with tunes like "Sonexuno - Alchemy" from Asylum and "Westwon - Control" from Olympic days.

The Essential Mix is a weekly radio show on BBC Radio 1 currently broadcast between 0:00 - 2:00 AM UK time on Saturday morning. Originally broadcast on 30 October 1993, the Essential Mix features contemporary DJs and music producers of electronic dance music. The show has been presented since its inception by Pete Tong and features an uninterrupted two-hour mix from a different artist each week, overlaid with occasional continuity announcements delivered by Tong. With a broadcast run in excess of 25 years, the Essential Mix is one of the longest-running programmes in the current BBC Radio 1 schedule, and is one of very few Radio 1 shows which is not broadcast live.
