When the World Lay Still was written during the last few months of prep before the record.  I always wanted to create a song that made me wan to DRIVE...one where your heart raced and you made a fool of yourself singing too as you sped down the highway.  

This song is simply about being there for someone...letting them know, no matter what "I got you"...
