Tinker Bell is about the struggle of sexual sin. The first part of the song signifies a past relationship that I had. It was first centered around God and was healthy and pure, but then began to dwindle because of the lack of accountability with each other to pursue Christ over each other.. God was no longer the foundation of the relationship and once the presence of God was completely out of the picture, all that was left in the relationship was physicality and it began to contort my thoughts. I knew that sex was not love, but I told myself that it was. The sound of a harsh, sexual, sigh, is that piercing, attractive, demanding voice of temptation from the devil, which told me that sin was my only choice. It told me that I had to follow through with the temptation. I gave in over and over and sex quickly became all that I wanted to do. The eeriness of the song signifies the feeling of knowing the consequences of sin, but going through with it anyways.  I was choosing to go against the lord’s voice and I hated it… but I loved it.  Eventually, the lust overtook me and I was in the violent, demanding, pattern of needing the fix because I knew I could get comfort from it.  The song never fully drops because sin never satisfies and the end of the song represents the emptiness of death that is followed by perpetual sin, Eternal separation.

Lost Los Angeles is my hype song.  It is representative of my emotions towards God calling me to evangelize in the city of Los Angeles.  The song is a mixture of my burden for the individuals who know not of the full life that Christ has to offer them and the second being my attitude towards reaching those individuals. If I have to go to every person I come in contact with to share with them what God has for them, then I am willing and ready. No fear, no guilt, no shame, no worries. The city of Los Angeles is lost and in need of revival. God sent me, so I am to prepare and become one with Him in his mission.

Seasonal transition represents my transition from one season of life to the next. My life in Nashville had come to an end and I was excited to be embarking on a future in California to study film. In the beginning of the song the pad represents my concoction of boredom, excitement, and anxiety while I was in Nashville. Boredom, because I was running low on my creative juices in Nashville. I felt like I had gone everywhere there was to go and experienced all that I had wanted to. I was excited for the adventure that awaited me in California, and I was anxious and impatient for the process of getting there. The drop signifies when I finish unpacking into my dorm and am ready to meet new faces, get involved with like-minded people, and dig deep into community with the believers of Biola University.  I was excited to be in a new place, but also excited to see where God would use me to impact these people.
