About Alex Wong
Alex Wong is a Latin GRAMMY-nominated artist and producer. He has produced records with Delta Rae (Big Machine), Ari Hest (Columbia), Vienna Teng (Universal), Melissa Ferrick and Morgxn, among others. His music has been featured in movies The Last Song and The Lincoln Lawyer, TV shows True Blood, Ray Donovan, and One Tree Hill, and commercials for Google and Aquafina.  Alex has toured all over the world, performing at festivals like Coachella, Outside Lands, and Corona Capital, in arenas in Mexico City and theaters in Europe and Japan, and on NPR’s Mountain Stage.  Most recently, Alex released two singles with Americana artist Jesse Terry from the forthcoming EP called Kivalina, inspired by stories of climate change and a series of singles from his second solo LP, The Elephant and The Seahorse (February 2020) and has recently written a two act musical called The Paper Raincoat. Inspiration

Amateur electronic music composer. Been at piano music for about 10 years now on and off; I took choir classes the entire way through school, and band for 3 years where I earned the Director’s Award and the John Quincy Jones Musicianship Award. I also did a season of Drum Corps at Raider’s Drum and Bugle Corps in 2018. 

In 2020/2021 I decided to put the SoundCloud-worthy stuff I’ve made on here, a couple of these have been sitting in storage for like 8 years. But I’ve recently discovered synthwave/cyberpunk, and decided I wanted to try making it. As of Jan. 2022 I’m in the beginner stage but I’m constantly improving 🤙🔥 

I also eventually want to branch out into different kinds of music like folk pop, hopepunk (unofficial genre lol), rap, and reggae.
