Broken Stars

It Comes As A Friend...(feat. Carey Clayton)

This song is about an ex who happily found the love of their life, while you feel alone and not enough. I wrote this after watching a really horrible move called "Good Luck Chuck." After beginning the recording process by tracking the drums and bass separately, the single was produced in my guitarist's apartment. We used two separate guitars to play the picking line along with various electronic plugins and percussive instruments to round out the dark folk pop vibe.
