Found some weird synth sounds which I sampled from an old Roland rack mount synth JV 5080 or something like that, then when they were reversed they made these really nice backwards squidges, so thats where it started anyway!

02 Bamboo tech (Original)

This was based upon a concept of "repossession" where if you where if you were a hologram for too long then you could be taken control of. I can't recall what I did to those vocals, but I think it went through novation nova filter, with some swirling thing going on.

04 Reposession

Inspired by lots of classic techno tracks that had very clipped vocals, I did this one, but also clipped everything else with a short decay and then used the decay variation as the main toy to play with in the track.

05 No shadow

This was a strange one, I took someone else's techno track which had a great base sub and then just filtered everything above something like 80hz, then used this as the baseline for my track, totally cheating but it worked really nice! I can't recall the original sample, but its totally unrecognisable / untraceable so I'm sure copy is not pinched.

06 Hello heaven

This was where Bamboo tech came from, its a little thumb piano made of bamboo, borrowed from my friend Kevin Kermack the crazy drumming percussion jazz and brazilian nut with more instruments than can fit in his house. Anyway I loved this instrument and sampled the heck out of it for this track and the original...thanks Kev! Also Kevin's friend Chris plays some mean congas on this one.

This track was a derivative of crash, much cleaner and simpler though and as a result seems to have more zing to it.

This is a nice tasty track done by Universal constructors. My favourite bit is the new latino melody played which is great and works nice with the funky snare drum.

Universal Constructors take on Bamboo tech

Starting off with Soundtank's Cultivator as remixed by Blueface and then cutting through the earlier works of Blueface Records including Jake and the Electric Nudes tracks from Blueface 1 and Jakes first release Proximity alongside a host of other tracks. Its dark, dirty very and weird!

Blueface and Blueface Records has been a techno, tech house, electronic band since the approx 2000. Operating under monikers including Jake & The Electric Nudes, Blueface, Dr Flexible, Metaforce a range of releases have put out most notably on own label Blueface Records, Jenetic Records and Primevil Records including various vinyl and cd releases. Much of the back catalogue is now available on Soundcloud, Spotify and iTunes. New tracks are now regularly appearing on Soundcloud as a new more immediate outlet. Tracks vary from the very melodic and light hearted beats of Memories of Life on Earth, through to darker earlier releases like Experiment E, or Reposession a track about body snatchers of the future.
