The Jake Castillo is an Original San Antonio Artist blending progressive blues, jazz and good old fashioned rock and roll into heartfelt original songs that are personally revealing and often tell stories of true life experiences....from the cruelty of the unforgiving streets to the joys of family and fatherhood. It is our hope and desire that listeners of all ages and backgrounds will find something that they relate to in the music and lyrics, all of which were written from the perspective of Jake’s own personal journey. 
Jake is the Songwriter, Vocalist & Guitar Player of the Jake Castillo Trio and has played showcases by invitation at SXSW in Austin, TX  and we also perform for San Antonio's Fiesta Arts & Music Festival every year. 
Although the band is called Jake Castillo "Trio", the smallest ensemble is a 4 piece with the addition of saxophone.

In addition to the Jake Castillo Trio; Jake has also released a Solo Album titled, "Pictures Of You".
Jake is the Owner Operator of TOPSTRING PRODUCTIONS Recording Studio where he has Produced, Engineered & Mixed hundred/thousands of projects for Local, Regional & National Artists.
Jake and his rhythm section from the JC3; Adrian Salinas (Bass) & Enrique Chavez (Drums). have performed on hundreds if not thousands of recordings for fellow artist and plan to continue as long as the Lord will allow them to make music together
