Based in Pennsylvania, USA, Mananov began obsessively listening to electronic music in the early 2000s, mainly indulging in trance and legendary electronic powerhouses such as The Prodigy and Daft Punk. In the late 2000s, he discovered progressive house and specifically, artists such as deadmau5, Adam K and ARTY, which inspired him to begin his journey as an electronic music producer. He honed his songwriting and production skills on FruityLoops by hitting File>Export every night, pumping out track after track for practice. Eventually he made the switch to Ableton Live and with that, what started out as a hobby became a serious endeavour.

As an artist, Mananov is driven to create the kind of music that he loves, music that instills deep emotion in its listener. His songs are both spiritual and soulful, and the intent is to produce music that is both emotive and driving - the kind that would make a perfect accompaniment for a reflective late night drive. His SRNDR debut, ’Soul Nexus’, is a prime example of his style. Featuring a dynamic arrangement that takes the listener through the highest of peaks and most contemplative of troughs, the track showcases Mananov’s trance roots, with lush, ethereal pads, beautifully melodic keys and uplifting synth arpeggiators, all floating above a hard-hitting, driving rhythm section. In typically dichotomous fashion, ’Soul Nexus’ is definitely a track that will induce both euphoria and melancholy.

Saiful Idris presents the soundtrack of the summer: Showcasing the deeper and more soulful side of his production repertoire, “Summer Daze” is a smooth, jazzy, deep house number that would be as at home on a crowded dancefloor as it would be right on the shoreline. Driving the track is a beautifully emotive saxophone lead, courtesy of Cardiff’s Carlos Fraccalvieri, that glides elegantly over a melodic bassline, crunchy beats and subtle arpeggiated synths. Based in London town and with a serious history in everything dance music, you’d be hard pushed to find someone more passionate about electronic sounds than Jake Cusack. With an involvement in the scene lasting over two and half decades, he has built inimitable experience and know-how that he continues to grow and learn from. From the humble days of DJing at the age of 14, to cutting dub plates in the music house on the Holloway Road to play in his evening sets, he has experienced the underground side of dance music and watched it flourish into the huge industry we know and love today.

Specialising in a unique brand of Deep and Tech House, Cusack’s sounds have garnered him support from all corners of the genre’s fan base. Originally from Wales, but living in London for twenty plus years, he moved to become closer to the sounds that he adored, finding himself releases and shows all over the world, connecting with 12inch Thumpers and Fresh DJ Agency he found himself playing at legendary shows such as Sundissentail & God Kitchen, and playing to crowds from Kings Cross to Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Influenced by artists such as Tony De Vit and Tall Paul, his releases were unleashed to critical acclaim.
