'Open Doors' is a laidback, deep jazzy house track that is as smooth as they come. Featuring a mix of organic percussions, a groovy bassline, a melodic piano topline and a saxophonic surprise, 'Open Doors' will definitely take you back to the jazzy, soulful sounds of late 1990s/early 2000s deep house.

Saxongroove are Jason Guest and Richard Kerry, long-term stalwarts of British dance music who have been producing together since 1997. Both started DJ-ing in the mid-90’s, playing parties within the UK and as far as Tenerife and Barbados, championing the classic house and electronic music sound before turning to production. Despite the latter’s move to Los Angeles in 2016, the duo has continued to work together, with more releases to follow.

This is my first ever EP. On April 16th when my song "Fragility" released. I had lost everything, my  girlfriend of 4 years who I love very much took off the night before and she broke up with me that day. I will always love her

This EP embodies the living nightmare I am currently in, and although sad, the sounds are warm and dark and I hope you enjoy.

SRNDR Records' Summer 2021 compilation EP features four summer-centric tracks that would appeal to the most discerning house music aficionados. Meticulously curated, each track corresponds to a different part of a typical summer day. The compilation kicks off in the late, balmy afternoon with a fresh edit of 'Summer Daze', label head Saiful Idris' recent summer hit that features a jazzy saxophone lead gliding elegantly over a melodic bassline, crunchy beats and subtle arpeggiated synths. As the sun begins to set, cue Idris' 'Sundown', a deep house beauty with a Latin-esque flavour that features a tango-inspired bassline, warm, stabby pianos and a wafting, melodic lead. The next track comes courtesy of American producer, Åírös, whose summer 2020 hit 'Pantheonic' is given a clean and fresh sheen. Featuring a tight, funky bassline, syncopated, percussive guitar licks and a raucous saxophone melody, 'Pantheonic' is the perfect floor-filler for a sweaty, summer night party. The compilation closes with DJ Vistar, who returns to SRNDR for the third time with 'Soul After', a deep, jazz-infused, atmospheric Afro house beauty that starts off slowly before building up to a wonderfully gratifying end, making for a perfect late night closer.

Gabu opens a new chapter with the launch of a fresh series, and the first release comes from none other than Dabous, the Riyadh-based producer making waves far beyond the Saudi underground. Known for his deep, hypnotic house and dub-infused sound, Dabous has already brought his energy to stages like MDL Beast Soundstorm, performing alongside global icons of the scene.

With Ceiling, he strips things down to their essence: mysterious pulses, heavy low-end echoes, and the kind of heady groove that lingers long after the last beat fades. It’s music that feels at once intimate and expansive, born from the underground, shaped for deep listeners, and carrying the unmistakable Gabu signature.

The series will launch first on Bandcamp, giving early supporters exclusive access, before rolling out across all major platforms in the months that follow.

Based in London town and with a serious history in everything dance music, you’d be hard pushed to find someone more passionate about electronic sounds than Jake Cusack. With an involvement in the scene lasting over two and half decades, he has built inimitable experience and know-how that he continues to grow and learn from. From the humble days of DJing at the age of 14, to cutting dub plates in the music house on the Holloway Road to play in his evening sets, he has experienced the underground side of dance music and watched it flourish into the huge industry we know and love today.

Specialising in a unique brand of Deep and Tech House, Cusack’s sounds have garnered him support from all corners of the genre’s fan base. Originally from Wales, but living in London for twenty plus years, he moved to become closer to the sounds that he adored, finding himself releases and shows all over the world, connecting with 12inch Thumpers and Fresh DJ Agency he found himself playing at legendary shows such as Sundissentail & God Kitchen, and playing to crowds from Kings Cross to Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Influenced by artists such as Tony De Vit and Tall Paul, his releases were unleashed to critical acclaim.
