While paradise-colored birds chirp from the trees and the moss-green lianas rustle to the beat of the wind, our boat glides gently down on the waves of the river. The symphony of the jungle enchants us with its very own harmony, chaotic and yet perfectly in tune.

Suddenly a pair of shining eyes piles up in the shallows of the water, followed by a monumental mouth full of crooked, grinning teeth. Amazed and curious, we recognize the silhouette of a hippopotamus that, with wobbling ears, tells us to follow its path.

Fascinated by the wild power of nature, we lag behind our new friend, while we hear a soothing sound from the distance, accompanied by a tremendous shaking of the earth.

As we slowly get closer to the scenery, we can hardly believe our eyes: an entire horde of hippos wiggles their hips up and down to the mesmerizing sound of a trumpet. Moved by this sight, we thank our friend and let ourselves carry away by the music.

The story above describes quite well the feelings we had in mind, while we first listened to the two tracks of the sympathetic swiss duo okuma. It was clear to us, that an EP had to be the result of this experience.

Moon’s Voyager, JPattersson, Kermesse and Kusht complement this tale with their beautiful interpretations. We want to thank all artists involved in this great release as well as Kilian Van de Water for the refreshing artwork and Haunted Water for the smooth mastering.

Why so ever, lets just do it, because it is beautiful, beacuse our music that we record and produce is also just a binary code, transforming over and over again, from our fingers on the synths, from the mic to the mixer, from the mixer into space, back on black plastics or bluetoothing through your walls directly in your ear...and this just because there is a 1 and a 0. This is why we celebrate, to say thank you to these magic numbers. Without these two little friends we would drum our techno with bones in analog caves. Naked. Oh Wait...that sounds great...the URSL Cave Raves. Mmmmh...well we will keep you in the loop on this new project. There’s no doubt that India is becoming a breeding ground for electronic music. Greenage is one of many Indian artists coming into their own. Living in Goa (India) where music is part of the local culture ever since the first hippies discovered this paradise. Goa being the one of the initial inspiration towards trance music, was the catalyst that made him get into electronic music at a young age of just 12 years old. Through the years, Goa started opening up to various other genres like electronica, ambient & chill out. Seeing other artists perform with their own electronic instruments inspired him to start working on his own music.
Greenage's sound can be defined as powerful, melodic progressive, deep with driving hypnotic rhythms laid on an unmistakeable chunky groove. It is music that is filled with emotion, inducing euphoria, with a strong emphasis on infectious, rhythmic energy, setting dance floors alight. In the space of a just a few years, Greenage's productions and releases have entered in the Top 100 Beatport charts on a number of occasions, his production simply has no boundaries and he has never set his music under one particular style. His productions have found itself in labels like Hope Recording’s, Mango alley, Proton Music, Juicebox music, Click Records, The purr music, Balkan Connection and many others. CRi quickly made his mark on the Montreal electronic scene by offering a singular sound influenced by house synths, syncopated snares, and futuristic basslines.

 A self-taught college dropout, CRi caught the attention of tastemakers through his first two EPs; 'Tell Her' and 'Someone Else' released on TOKiMONSTA’s label, Young Art. 

Christophe Dubé’s real breakthrough happened in 2018 with a Juno nomination for the EP 'Someone Else' which was swiftly followed with the release of his mini EP 'Me and My Friends' as well as his collaboration with Charlotte Cardin, 'Fous n’importe où', which revisits Daniel Bélanger's timeless classic.

After releasing their smashing debut EP ‘Fields’ that was well received with featured remixes by Madmotormiquel, Genii, Canson, and Noraj Cue we welcome back Roswita and Nash with their new project moniker called @roswithanash. Due to the pandemic they couldn’t bring their sound to the stage. Instead, they poured their quiet Corona hours into creating and can’t wait to share all of it with you.

For now, we are releasing the single ‘Don’t go asking’. A 7 minute moment where they say: it’s alright. The single is completed with a beautiful slow remix by Berlin’s legendary music duo @mira_kater & Chris Schwarzwälder (@shuffle). Can you hear the promising summer buzzing in the warm chords...?

Don’t go asking started out as a combination of a sample of a rough legged owl and a few broken bonds between some human people. In its core the story and feeling of the track is about new beginnings. The chords carrying the track are one part “Where do I go next?” and one part “It’s already okay”. For the detailed listener, someone is very softly asking... How are you? But as the vocals loud and clearly answer: We don’t need to ask each other that question anymore. They are old and tired, and whatever is happening now is new, young, and full of potential. It’s alright.

Amount and Tiefgeist team up for EP number twenty on Heimlich Musik, col- laborating between Munich and Berlin to deliver two fresh original mixes with @arutani and Lukas Endhardt on remix duty. Beam Me Up is a reduced version of slowed-down house with cosmic synth lines building upon a foundation of analog drums and an energetic bassline. Reise durch den Äther takes a darker path based on a hypnotic synth structure inspired by Dub Techno with psyche- delic accents floating along with the arrangement. While Arutani’s interpretation of Beam Me Up makes use of his emotional signature style somewhere between melancholia and euphoria, Lukas Endhardt’s remix of Reise durch den Äther is full of energy with a banging bassline and trippy elements strongly inspired by the original’s main synth theme.
