Singer/songwriter, Jake Koelzer released his debut album, "Ouarter Two Three" in 2010, and his sophomore album, "Virtue and the Vice" in September, 2016. His first effort recieved high praise within its respected circles. Lively Times wrote, "Koelzer already conjures the low-light ambience of hip uptown nightclubs and large downtown ballrooms, exuding confidence from flawless technique and spot-on intonation." Jazz Times featured "Quarter Two Three" in the November and December, 2010 issues. Jake studied voice, piano, writing and literature at Berklee College of Music and at Montana State University. He has been featured with numerous ensembles and swing bands. Koelzer currently performs with his 5-piece ensemble and resides in Portland, Oregon.
