A wall of faces closing in, your heart pulsating in your ears, and the aching vacuum in your lungs - panic takes hold. The exit is past the crowd, and you feel the stares follow as you flounder and flutter to escape.

Sleeping Dogs tells a tale as old as time, reminiscing on a love lost that never got the chance to be, over a richly textured bed of guitars, electric piano and synthesisers, before coming to a head with an emotionally-charged guitar solo. The song conjures moments seared into memory, wishes clung to desperately, and regretfully relinquished - nostalgia given form.

Really excited about this one - it's groovy, soulful and psychedelic, and my good buddy (and even better drummer) Taylor Daley plays drums and percussion with a really tight feel that was missing from the track until he added them.

I find it really interesting how a track goes from alright, but missing some secret sauce, to "WOAH!" with a good drummer, and in my personal opinion, this, and the upcoming tracks (to be released over the coming months) really transformed into something greater with the help of some great drummers.
