I was very much inspired by Narnia for this. Zelda's lullaby too. Anything Koji Kondo. If anyone's read The Horse and His Boy this is what I picture Aravis's theme would sound like.

I tried to make a somber futuristic track, but instead of synths, do it purely on piano. That hasn't been seen often. What would a blade runner world sound like if it was acoustic? In my head, this character is stuck in the future, and he knows he'll never be able to come home. The skyscrapers are suffocatingly big.

You Broke Your Time Machine in the Year 3000

Ready for liftoff! I picture a young, anxious astronaut who's first mission may be his last. A new frontier calls to him, but he wonders if he'll ever get to see home again. This was very inspired by Super Mario Galaxy. Koji Kondo and Mahito Yokota had such an impact on me as a kid.

I took a break from working on this a while back, but I managed to make the second half this morning and I'm really happy w/ it.

Taking My Time

Original spin on the highly sampled "toyohirakumen". It started off as it's own completely sample free track, but after messing around with the sample it fit well and I went from there. The vocal samples are from Jet Set Radio, a childhood game. Expect more of those. Let me know what you think as I continue to progress with an upcoming EP.
