Main theme for the podcast "Mystery or History" by Multihouse Entertainment, composed by Jake Shadrake.

Mystery or History Theme

Originally composed to pitch for the AMC series Rectify whilst in pre-production back in 2012, I gave this track a long overdue day at the spa. A simple acoustic guitar riff, layered with wandering mandolin and guitar flurries + a felt piano. The cellos and violas from the original track have been replaced by more granular textures using Spitfire Audio LABS instruments.

Just Like the Snow (DEZI x j.mulay)

This song is inspired by “The Gun Song” from the musical Assassins by Stephen Sondheim. While “The Gun Song” is striking because it shows the joy that can sometimes arise from the evil and destructive tendencies of a gun, “Yours Again” shows the pain that a usually joyful smile can elicit in the context of an unhealthy relationship.
