Do Not Sleep is back with another belter and this time dance floor veterans Prok | Fitch are bringing the heat with their new 'Ruler Of My Mind' EP.

In the past few years, Prok |Fitch have cemented their position as one of the most respected and successful DJ/productions outfits in electronic music. Regularly cited as one of Beatport's highest selling artists, their music strikes an appealing balance between melodic intricacy and dance floor heft. When not busy touring the world, this power duo has been gracing top imprints like Circus, Solid Grooves, Jamie Jones' Hot Creations & Green Velvet's well respected Relief imprint with their infectious, well calculated sounds.

On the A-side, the title track 'Ruler Of My Mind' starts to build from the very first beat, and it does not take long until that familiar Prok | Fitch 'kick in the chest' feeling appears. The huge bass line is accompanied by a slick synth loop keeping things heavy and funky, before the vocal cut appears and takes this stormer to the next level. 

On the B-side we have 'Source Of Energy', and as customary with these lads, this track is as strong as anything. Funky old-school stabs and a clever vocal sample keeps the pace going before the massive rolling bass line takes over the driving seat and puts the pedal to the metal.

Italian producer WEIRD delivers a lively two track EP for Metafloor Records. Known for his cheerful, beat-driven production style, the release will be sure to get a host of parties fired up over the summer. 

Title track 'Odyssey' is an uplifting club tool with well worked interplay between an uplifting lead synth line and an epic string stab. A catchy vocal hook sits at the top of the mix with the rolling bassline providing the weight at the lower frequencies. 

'Just Because' is another feel good number, made up of lush, disco-infused riffs and funky guitars. This one is a real groover that's sure to leave a mark on the dance floor in the coming months.

Over the recent years, Jake has sculpted his sound across a wide variety of house genres but settled in nicely with his take on Deep/Minimal House and has been receiving positive support and amazing feedback from the likes of; Darius Syrossian, Jamie Jones, Danny Howard, Steve Lawler for his tracks in Deep/Minimal, incorporating catchy vocals and groovy melody’s layered over tight snappy drums.

Jake Tomas  has gone from strength to strength securing releases on Kittball Records, Grifintown Records, Blackboard and 1980 Recordings and has also secured DJ Gigs in the UK at Mint Warehouse & DEJA VU in Hull along with Ibiza.

Jake has performed guest mixes for Whistle Louder, In the Know Records and have also featured on Spotlight mixes for Data Transmission, Electronic groove and Club Tropico.

Jake has also appeared on the popular Irish Dance radio station RTE Pulse along with Dash Radio presented by Gary Jamze as well as BBC Introducing too!
