The debut release from new London label Lost Records sees Darius Syrossian in full swing with the superb ‘Anything Weird’ EP backed with a standout remix from label bosses Leftwing & Kody…

Darius Syrossian has become a leading light in House music’s current generation since bursting
on to the scene almost 10 years ago. Building a reputation for quality productions and
performances that has seen him in perpetual demand, he has releases for labels such as Viva,
OFF Recordings and Area Remote. Now the Leeds based DJ/Producer teams up with a brand
new imprint brought to us by the hotly tipped production duo Leftwing & Kody.

The ‘Anything Weird EP’ kicks off with the original version of ‘I’ll Do Anything’, a beautifully
produced slice of tough House music with a subterranean bouncy bassline, classic techno
cymbals and snares and an infectious old school vocal line, quality stuff. The original version is
followed with a remix from label bosses Leftwing & Kody who put their own audibly arousing
twist on Syrossian's track - adding in some irresistible fluttering claps and chopping up the
vocals to add a different intensity to the whole vibe. Faster and with a unique fierceness, it's a
remix that remains on par with the original.

The final track of the EP shows the breadth and true talent of Syrossian; 'I'm Not Weird Your
Just Normal' has a deep growling bass and truly contagious chord harmony, adding a little
element of humour and wonky fairground vibes to the track.
This is a killer debut from the Lost Records label and another winner from the ever-reliable
Darius Syrossian.

Born in 1983 in South of France, Amine Edge is known as one of the symbolic figures of the "G House" movement. Basically called "Gangsta House", the name of this movement comes from the special atmosphere this music just kicks away: here comes another vision of the House music, a stunning combination between Funk’s deep basses and inspired by the latest 80s Hip House movement.  Together with production partner DANCE they are amongst the most prolific artists right now and have released music for Love Not Money, Neim, LouLou and 2DIY4 amongst countless others.

Amine Edge & DANCE live and breathe the House Gangster movement: "It's an attitude and a respect to our roots, real MEN who play real sh*t, not playing bad music to buy a ferrari and destroy the ears and the culture of the kids. After four outstanding various artist releases, Hot Creations off­shoot Hot Waves is back with it’s first full artist release ‘It’s Over’ from Bristol sensation Waifs & Strays aka Amos Nelson and Rich Beanland. Jamie Jones and Lee Foss first snapped up the talented producers in 2011 with ‘Body Shiver’ for Hot Creations. This time they deliver two dancefloor weapons with infectious vocals and bouncing basslines just in time for summer sun.

In 2010 their debut release ‘3am’ on Matt Tolfrey’s Leftroom imprint set the benchmark high for future success; featuring in DJ Mag’s essential releases, and picking up props from major players including Luciano, DJ T, Anja Schneider, dOP, Danny Tenaglia and Laurent Garnier.

The follow­up record ‘Yeah Yeah’, gathered significant international support following its debut at Detroit Music Conference, smashing dancefloors from Fabric to Watergate.
o+o Since then the pair have released records on Leftroom, Resonance, Futureboogie and Dirtybird, with support from Pete Tong in the form of Essential New Contender and another Essential New Tune in the form of ‘I Saw Yo Girl’, released at the beginning of 2013.

2013 sees Waifs & Strays continue a relentless schedule of touring and producing with tours planned for Australia and the Americas, and a number of releases on the way.
