Jala Von was raised in Virginia Beach, Va. This is where she discovered her love of music at the tender age of 3. By age eight, she'd developed a talent and  love for
 writing and was soon helping her older brother write songs for his rock band. Some of her very first influences were greats such as Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Toni Braxton but as she got older, she grew a love for all genres including pop and country.  Look out for songs like "The Real Thing" and "Don't Change" off of the Crazy Miss Project.
