Jalpari is the selector alias of Samiksha Nair who’s been cutting her teeth on the Singaporean scene for years now. A woman who wears many hats, she’s performed at events for Algorhythm, Manifest, and Headquarters just to name a few, musically exploring everything from deep house and disco to melodic techno.

For the 15-Min Flash Mix, Jalpari invites you into deep tech territory, carving out minimal anatomies with maximum impact. With tracks from the likes of Rossi and Prok & Fitch, she plays with soulful vocal samples and perky, percolating basslines. The Therapy Room was started as a passion project by a group of friends who are long-standing members of the entertainment industry of Singapore, aimed at exploring mental health and emotional and psychological wellbeing of artists and performers who were affected during the pandemic. With a deep-rooted connection to the ocean, Jalpari (meaning "water-fairy") seamlessly melds Deep, Progressive House, and Minimal Tech into a spicy melodic sensation that will keep you dancing and smiling into the sunset.

Emerging from India and flourishing in Singapore, Jalpari has been crafting her love for electronic music since 2019, with a residency at renowned club Headquarters and playing at sought-after venues like Manifest, Tuff Club, Potato Head, CATO, The Glass Hut, and Algorhythm. 

She has also been featured at notable regional broadcasts in SE Asia like Sivilian Sounds, Life in Arpeggio, Therapy Room, and Raaz Records. Currently based in Melbourne, Jalpari continues to explore and hone her musical identity.
