SInger/songwriter Jalyn Jewel Johnson was born May 2, 1990 in Newark, NJ. She moved to Willingboro, NJ where she first took interest in singing. Growing up, Jalyn Jewel fell in love with singing in front of a crowd. It is where she has always felt at home. To celebrate her 25th year of life, Jalyn Jewel is kicking off her musical journey with her first original project, an EP titled "Long Story Short".
