This also is a really really old riff that we used to jam when we first started getting together for weekly jam sessions long before Jam First began.

...To be clear, I mean long before our band Jam First was created, not before the jam went first! Jam has always gone first in Cornwall! Since before time!
In fact, Cornwall is actually (probably) built on a layer of fine Cornish strawberry jam!

Well... this is a song about when you accidentally trip and fall into the next dimension where the perception of time is not momentary to 'the now' and instead flows in long linear frames of possibilities and their eventualities.
Like standing at a busy intersection observing the choices of fate made by the chances of decisions.

This is actually one of our oldest tracks from when we were just a bunch of mates who used to get together and jam.
It originally started out as an instrumental piece, but eventually evolved into the song it is today.

The reason it is called Freighter is because when it was an instrumental song there were some sounds from Mike's guitar FX which resembled a freight train.
The lyrics bare no relevance to the name of the song, but the song is too old to be given another name now.

This track is about how "craziness" is just an angle of perspective, we all see things from our own different angles and view others different traits as "crazy" often neglecting to acknowledge our own crazed fanatical traits.
We're all "crazy" from different angles, every single one of us.

Ere wasson ma beauties... we are a 4 piece band based in Cornwall (Southwest UK). Putting a psychedelic spin on a range of styles with the aim of not sticking to any particular genre, it's all about the music.

We originally started out as a bunch of good friends who used to get together every Friday to jam on our instruments, we discovered that our different musical influences created a nice collaboration and unique style.

Although we have been jamming together for many years Jam First is still only its infancy, so stay tuned if you like what you hear because there is much much more yet to come!
Our next plans on the horizon are to record our debut album and film a few music videos which we are really excited about, it will all be a lot of fun and we can't wait to share it with you :)
