Jamal Nouman, marocain originaire de Larache, est issu d'une famille où l'héritage de la musique et de la culture arabo-andalouse est très présent.
Porté par le chant de sa mère qui se produit dans de nombreuses fêtes et réunions, Jamal Nouman s'intéresse lui-même très jeune au chant et à la guitare. Il suit les cours du conservatoire de musique de sa ville natale, puis sa passion du théâtre le mènera à l'Institut Supérieur d'Art Dramatique de Rabat. Il entreprend ensuite des sessions de perfectionnement en chant choral et musique arabo-andalouse, puis crée "Miditeraneo", trio qui explore la musique chaabi (d'origine maghrébine) avec les techniques de la musique classique.
Une partie du travail de Jamal Nouman est avant tout consacrée à la collecte de chansons traditionnelles, patrimoine qu'il revisite d'après sa propre sensibilité et qu'il utilise pour assurer la transmission de messages d'amour et de liberté. L'éclat et la finesse de sa voix enrichissent sa musique d'une émotion intense. Les thèmes qu'il aborde dans ses chansons côtoient l'univers de la poésie, ce qui redonne aux paroles tout leur sens. Jamal travaille aussi énormément à la composition de musique pour des pièces de théâtre.

Jamal Nouman, natural de Marruecos Larache, proviene de una familia donde la música y el legado de la cultura arábigo-andaluz está muy presente.
Llevados por el canto de su madre, que lleva a cabo en numerosos festivales y reuniones, Jamal Nouman propio interesado muy joven en voz y guitarra. Que en el conservatorio de música en su ciudad natal y su pasión por el teatro lo llevó al Instituto Superior de Arte Dramático de Rabat. A continuación, sesiones de desarrollo en el canto coral y la música arábigo-andaluza y crea "Miditeraneo" trío que explora la música chaabi (de origen magrebí) con las técnicas de la música clásica.
Parte del trabajo de Jamal Nouman se dedica principalmente a la colección de canciones tradicionales, retoma la herencia de su propia sensibilidad y que se utiliza para garantizar la transmisión de mensajes de amor y libertad. El brillo y la sutileza de su voz enriquecer su música con las emociones intensas. Los temas que aborda en sus canciones junto con el mundo de la poesía, que da pleno sentido a las palabras. Jamal también funciona muy bien para componer música para obras de teatro.

Jamal Nouman, a native of Morocco Larache, comes from a family where music and legacy of the Arab-Andalusian culture is very present.
Carried by the singing of his mother, who performs in many festivals and meetings, Jamal Nouman interested himself very young on vocals and guitar.
