Red Sun Rising, the evocative Polish psychill project helmed by Michał Niecikowski, returns once more with 'The Moon', a dreamy two‑track EP spotlighting the ethereal vocal of Alia Fay. Released under Altar Records, this EP arrives nearly four years after the profoundly 'Forest Stories Ep' and continues to embody that same organic, melodic vibe that fans have come to cherish.

Track 1 opens with gently undulating pads and a sense of dawn-like emergence. Alia’s voice, warm and haunting, coils around a serene flute melody, creating a feeling of floating between dream and sunrise.
Track 2 deepens the journey with pulsating rhythms and richer textural layers. Alia’s vocals here weave with subtle electronic echoes, reinforcing the psychill palette while retaining a sense of ritualistic intimacy.

Michał’s production shines through in both pieces, organic instrumentation (flute, field-like atmospheres) blends seamlessly with modern sound design, evoking landscapes both familiar and surreal.
Alia Fay’s performance is the surface jewel, her vocals are pure, floating, and deeply emotive; her 
flute lines, where present, add a timeless dimension.

The Moon Part 2

Nimbus
Some songs are born late at night, others in the soft glow before dawn.
This one began after a half sleepless night with my grandson — watching Babblarna, playing, and laying down the first layers in FL Studio. Just as the music started to form, he added his own grand finale: a diaper disaster that ended in a quick shower.

Afterwards, with a warm bottle and fresh clothes, we both fell asleep.
And this morning, after my half sleepless night, with a strong cup of coffee, I picked it up again and finished it in the moment — letting it drift into what became Nimbus: a track as soft and weightless as the clouds, yet filled with warmth, humor, and love.
