...why am thinking about biblical references in this? I guess since Undyne is in Toriel's (a.k.a the mother figure's) role and "speared spirit" is kinda like "pierced heart"... though it's with a spear, not a sword. Do you get where I'm going with this? Am I thinking too hard about it? I probably am. :/

In this branch, Flowey takes the role of Asgore. Having been seemingly overlooked by the event that caused several notable figures in the Underground to disappear, Asriel was left alone and afraid. However, Chara would not allow that. From their strange, inexplicable pocket of reality they clawed their way back in, latching onto the only DETERMINATION they could.
And so the siblings were reunited in one vessel. As the rightful heirs to the Kingdom they locked themselves away in the Throneroom, occasionally giving orders and demands. Few followed their word, leaving the Underground relatively rulerless... And leaving the duo feeling helpless and alone.
One day, the visions started. Whether it be caused by DETERMINATION, the unusual manner in which Chara returned or some strange combination of the two, they swiftly became plagued by memories they never had of horrific events... With one Human at the centre of it.
Now the Human has arrived. And they've no choice but to act, even if they seem far less cruel than in those inexplicable thoughts.

After all, despite everything, it's still you, Hare...

THi: ok so basically, there's a bit of a story behind this one. I'll try my best to describe it but idk if I'm doing it right since i don't know how to properly describe it, sincerest apologies if I get any details wrong. Basically, my amazing girlfriend (@upsettiger_in_a_zoo) wasn't feeling great, which in turn, made me feel bad myself, I asked Saster about it and we both did our best to help her out, and I can't thank him enough for that, but during this ordeal, he shared an flp of an unfinished DESPAIR intro, so I asked if I could finish it, and he agreed, completed it in about 3 hours lol. But yeah, thank you so much @sasterdadudester for not only being a great friend, but an inspiration to this community. It's an honor to work with you.

Q. What program do you use to make your songs?
A. Ableton.

Q. What's your favorite song?
A. In general, I prefer listening to emotional tracks. Corridors of Time from the Chrono Trigger soundtrack comes to mind, I can't get enough of that ostinato in the beginning haha. ASGORE from Undertale is another personal favorite of mine and something I look back on in terms of arrangement and intensity. As for non-vgm pieces, Porter Robinson's entire discography hits all the marks for me.

A. I'll take a peek at comments from time to time for inspiration.
